The original images were created with Mississippi mud and plants and scanned to permanently capture the fresh bright colors of berries, flower petals and leaves pushed into the paper. Color sources to create APRIL: poke salad leaves, poke salad berries, red hill dirt, bitterweed petals, purple lobelia petals, sunflower petals & burned meadow grass

This is a stand alone design or can be arranged into a large cypress tree. The images are in seasonal collections, each month featuring a bird/plant/insect relationship.
