Kisatchie Immersive Art Weekend

A Nature, Visual & Culinary Art Experience

Featuring Artists and Nature Enthusiasts, Robin Whitfiled & Aubrey Bolen

Come hang out with Robin and Aubrey in Kisatchie National Forest in Central Louisiana for a weekend! This dynamic duo will show you how nature inspires their creative process. Robin will demonstrate how to use nature as a source of pigment while working in the field with water colors and Aubrey will demonstrate the gear he uses for overnight trips into the backcountry along with the inspiration he draws from all things Kisatchie.

From the trails of this elaborate National Forest, this nature-loving-team will help you navigate unique paths while being influenced by the different forest ecosystems.

Some car camping experience required. Students need to provide their own camping set up. Participants will need to provide their own breakfasts, lunches, snacks and water. Two exclusive dinners will be prepared by local chef, John Foster Gunter, who will utilize cooking themes and menu items that suit the nature trail and art experience.
